Job Position: Farm Park Assistant
Department: Farm Park
Reporting to: Farm Park Manager
Salary: Minimum £6.83 per hour
Contract: Part Time Hours: Minimum 8 hours. Shift work required. Normal working hours are 7.00am-6.30pm. At certain points in the year you will be required to work extended hours. Will usually involve weekend/school holiday work.
Overall Objective:
• To assist the animal husbandry officer in maintaining the exceptionally high standards of all animal husbandry set by the farm park manager • You will have very high standards in presentation of all areas of the farm park and customer care
• You will be of a happy disposition with a willingness to communicate with a variety of visitors including very young children, teenagers, adults and people with additional needs.
• You will be required to work within all areas of the farm park, including (but not exclusively) petting sessions, adventure golf and animal racing
• You will be willing to learn, have a ‘can do’ attitude and a hard working ethic.
